Dont Afraid The Traditional 3 Problem You Will Meet In Dye Sublimation Printing
As a sublimation paper manufacture, we will help customer solve many problem during they do the printing, the main problem we think are as follow, its can solve, so dont worry.
The drying time is related with the inkjet sublimation paper printing temperature and the relative humidity, normally the recommended printing temperature is 25℃ (77℉) . And relative humidity is 53%.If the temperature is below 25℃ (77℉) , there’s no enough heat for the dye sublimation paper to dry very fast . On the other hand , if the relative humidity is higher than 53%, which means there are too much moisture in the air, it’s like in the raining days ,the clothes always dry very slowly. When you meet with those two problem, one extra heat drier or dehumidifier will help you solve the problem very easily. Most of the new printers ,like EPSON, it has a build-in drier in the printer itself, if you are still using the old machine (plotter), it’s better to set up an extra heat drier , or update your machine into the new one. Buy a new machines seems rather expensive , but in a long way , it will solve more problems and save your cost .
The ink problem . Good ink always costs a lot , because it contains more dye and less water . Many clients buy the cheaper ink but the quality is bad . The ingredient of ink are water and dye , if the ink is cheaper , means there are less dye but much more water in it. So when you print the sublimation paper , there are too much water in it, there’s no doubt you will have a very big problem with the drying . And after you make the transfer ,you will see the transfer result is not that good, it is not caused by the paper problem , but the sublimation ink problem .So change your ink into high quality one ,you could solve the problem very easily.
After you check the usage problem and the ink problem , the last one is maybe the paper you buy is not the quick dry type , although your supplier claimed that it’s the newest quick dry sub paper ,but actually it isn’t.
You’d better test more samples from different supplier , and choose the best one for you own good . It is always best to select sublimation printing paper and ink that are manufactured to the highest standards !
