Milky White DTF Powder Workflow
1. Print
Design drawings are printed on PET film using a DTF printer.
2. Apply DTF Powder
Apply DTF powder over the film by hand or with an automated shaker, then remove any excess by lightly shaking.
3. Melt Dtf Powder (Option A, Oven)
Place powdered film in an oven at at 280°F for 6 minutes until the powder appears glossy.
4. Melt DTF Powder (Option B, Heat Press)
Place film in heat press, powdered side up, 4-7 mm above. Heat at 325°F for 5-7 min without closing press.
5. Pre-Pressing
Pre-press the garment for 2-5 seconds to flatten the fabric and remove moisture.
6. Transfer Designs
Cover the film with silicone or parchment paper, and press at 325°F for 8-15 sec.
7. Peel The Film
Let the garment cool, then peel off the film slowly and steadily.
8. Repressing
Re-press the garment at 325°F for 5-8 sec for enhanced durability.
