DTF Transfer Printing Ink
DTF heat transfer is a newer method of decorating, but it’s a far from the old iron-on decals. With dtf heat transfer, also known as direct-to-film, your custom logo or design is printed onto the transfer film using transfer printing inks, then heat transfer the ink from the PET film to your fabric. In this process, DTF transfer ink plays a key role.

About Storage:
In order to protect unused inks, it is recommended to store it in its original packaging, in the poly bag at 68°F -82°F( 20°C -28°C) and 40-60% RH.
About Printing:
Printing is performed in ″mirror″ image. Allow the printing ink to dry before transferring.
DTF Transfer Printing in 10 Steps
- Print on Film - Print the whole image on the PET film, with white as the bottom.
- Spread the Powder - Pour the hot melt powder onto the the film.
- Melt the Powder - Melt the powder in place with heat press or curing oven.
- Pre-press the fabric - make your shirt smooth, no wrinkles will show up in the print.
- Heat Transfer - temperature range of 160 to 170 degree Celsius for about 15 to 20secomds, and the film will firmly attached to the fabric.
- Cold Peel - after heat pressing onto a shirt, set it aside until the fabric and transfer are completely cooled off.
- Post-pressing - optional step to get high performance parameters like wash and rub fastness.
