Screen Making
While the vibrant daytime graphics are printed digitally, the signature 5-hour glow relies on custom-burned silk screens. Printing

How to Apply GlowLux™ Transfers

Step 1: Precision Heat Press Set your heat press to 160°C (320°F) with a medium-firm pressure of 0.6 MPa (87 psi). Apply the GlowLux™ transfer and press for 12 seconds. This initial stage ensures the specialized hybrid luminescent paste bonds perfectly with the fabric fibers.
Step 2: Complete Cooling & Cold Peel Remove the garment from the press and lay it flat. Allow the transfer to cool completely to room temperature. Once fully cold, gently peel the carrier film starting from one corner in a smooth, consistent motion.
Step 3: The Signature Reverse Press (5 Seconds) To unlock maximum washability and durability, turn the garment inside out or flip it over. Press from the back of the fabric for 5 seconds. This crucial final step secures the print from within the fibers and protects the delicate GlowLux™ luminous top coating from direct heat damage, ensuring a flawless, long-lasting glow.
💡 CRITICAL PRO TIPS FOR THE PERFECT FINISH:
100% Cold Peel Required: The GlowLux™ hybrid paste must cure completely before peeling. Do not attempt to peel while warm. Allow the transfer to cool entirely to room temperature for a clean release and to preserve the luminous coating.
Never Direct Press After Peeling: Avoid re-pressing the front of the design directly after peeling. The special glow-in-the-dark coating is heat-sensitive; the 5-second Reverse Press (from the back of the fabric) is the only way to finalize the bond without melting or compromising the visual effect.
Laundry Care: For maximum longevity of the 5-6 hour glow, wait at least 24 hours before the first wash. Turn the garment inside out and use a cold, gentle cycle.
FAQ
How long does the glow-in-the-dark effect actually last?
Once fully charged by natural or artificial light, our GlowLux™ transfers emit a bright green glow for 5 to 6 hours in dark environments. For the most radiant effect, we recommend exposing the garment to direct sunlight or a strong UV light source for at least 15–30 minutes before wearing it in the dark.
Are these luminous transfers durable through washing?
Yes, exceptionally durable. Unlike standard glow powders that crack or fade over time, our transfers are manufactured with a hybrid screen-printed base. When applied correctly—especially with the mandatory 5-second reverse press—the glowing coating binds deeply into the fabric fibers. For maximum longevity, always wash inside out on a cold, gentle cycle and avoid high-heat tumble drying.
Can I hot peel the GlowLux™ transfers to save production time?
No. A 100% cold peel is strictly required. The specialized luminescent paste needs to cool completely to room temperature to properly cure and release from the carrier film. Attempting to peel it while warm will damage the glowing layer, ruin the crisp edges of your design, and compromise the washability.
Do I need to set up special "glow layers" in my design files?
Not at all! You just need to upload your standard high-resolution artwork (vector files like AI, PDF, or SVG are preferred). Our pre-press team automatically maps out the exact boundaries for the custom screen-printed glow layer underneath your colored design. We handle the complex hybrid setup so you don’t have to.
Will the night-glow coating change how my design looks during the day?
No. One of the biggest advantages of GlowLux™ is that it maintains hyper-resolution color accuracy in daylight. Your graphics will look just as vibrant and detailed as standard premium DTF prints, without the cloudy, stiff, or yellowish tint commonly seen in cheaper glow-in-the-dark vinyls.
