SkinSoft™ is a signature finish within our complete line of Premium Specialty DTF Transfers, designed specifically for high-end garment customization. Unlike standard DTF prints that rely solely on digital powder and can sit heavily on top of the garment, these transfers are manufactured using an advanced hybrid printing process. We combine hyper-resolution digital printing with a custom screen-printed specialized paste. When pressed at a precise 160°C and finished with a crucial 5-second reverse press, this unique paste integrates deeply into the fabric fibers, resulting in a buttery-smooth hand feel that reproduces intricate details without the plastic bulk.

Screen Making
While the vibrant graphics are printed digitally, the signature “second-skin” texture relies on custom-burned silk screens. We prepare dedicated screens precision-engineered specifically for our proprietary soft-feel adhesive paste. Printing
We manufacture your transfers using a highly specialized hybrid technique. First, we output your design onto premium release film to capture hyper-resolution details. How to Apply SkinSoft™ Transfers

Step 1: Precision Heat Press Set your heat press to 160°C (320°F) with a medium-firm pressure of 0.6 MPa (87 psi). Apply the SkinSoft™ transfer and press for 12 seconds. This initial stage ensures the specialized hybrid paste bonds perfectly with the fabric fibers.
Step 2: Complete Cooling & Cold Peel Remove the garment from the press and lay it flat. Allow the transfer to cool completely to room temperature. Once fully cold, gently peel the carrier film starting from one corner in a smooth, consistent motion.
Step 3: The Signature Reverse Press (5 Seconds) To unlock the ultimate “second-skin” texture, turn the garment inside out or flip it over. Press from the back of the fabric for 5 seconds. This crucial final step secures the print from within the fibers and protects the delicate SkinSoft™ top coating from direct heat damage, ensuring a flawless, buttery-smooth finish.
💡 CRITICAL PRO TIPS FOR THE PERFECT FINISH:
100% Cold Peel Required: The SkinSoft™ hybrid paste must cure completely before peeling. Do not attempt to peel while warm. Allow the transfer to cool entirely to room temperature for a clean release and to preserve the ultra-soft top coating.
Never Direct Press After Peeling: Avoid re-pressing the front of the design directly after peeling. The special coating is heat-sensitive; the 5-second Reverse Press (from the back of the fabric) is the only way to finalize the texture without melting or compromising the finish.
Laundry Care: For maximum longevity, wait at least 24 hours before the first wash. Turn the garment inside out and use a cold, gentle cycle.

How is SkinSoft™ different from standard DTF transfers?
Standard DTF uses a traditional adhesive powder that can leave a heavy, plastic-like finish, especially on larger designs. SkinSoft™ utilizes an advanced hybrid process that combines hyper-resolution digital printing with a custom screen-printed paste. This eliminates the rigid feel entirely, leaving a highly breathable, “second-skin” texture designed specifically for premium streetwear.
What types of fabrics work best with SkinSoft™ transfers?
These transfers are incredibly versatile and bond beautifully with 100% cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, and tri-blends. When applied correctly—which includes the mandatory 5-second reverse press—the print integrates deeply into the fabric fibers, resisting cracking, fading, and peeling wash after rigorous wash.
Why is the 5-second reverse press required? Can I just press the front?
The reverse press is the absolute secret to achieving the buttery-smooth finish. Applying direct heat to the front of the design after peeling can melt the delicate matte coating. Pressing from the back of the garment for 5 seconds drives the paste deeper into the fabric, permanently locking in that premium, zero-plastic texture.
Are these transfers hot peel or cold peel?
SkinSoft™ transfers are strictly 100% cold peel. You must allow the garment to cool completely to room temperature before removing the carrier film. Attempting a hot or warm peel will interrupt the curing process of the specialty paste and ruin the soft-touch finish.
Since this is a hybrid process with screen printing, are there high MOQs?
While we do burn custom screens for the specialized adhesive paste, our Sublistar manufacturing process is highly optimized for scale. This allows us to keep Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) very competitive for B2B brands, custom print shops, and streetwear labels.
