UV flatbed printers can print on acrylic, wood, glass, ceramic, coated metal, PVC, plastic, leather, PU, cardboard, foam board, and many other rigid or flexible materials. Some surfaces may require primer or pre-treatment to achieve reliable adhesion.
Yes. Depending on the selected configuration, the printer can use CMYK, white ink, and varnish. White ink supports printing on dark or transparent materials, while varnish can create spot-gloss, textured, and premium decorative effects.
Yes. Raised textures and embossed effects can be created by printing multiple controlled layers of white ink or varnish. The final height, speed, and detail depend on the artwork, ink configuration, material, and number of layers.
The vision system detects the position, rotation, and outline of products placed on the printing platform. It reduces manual alignment and fixture requirements, making it especially useful for irregular products, mixed-item batches, and personalized orders.
Flatbed UV printers print directly onto objects placed on the printing platform. UV DTF printers print onto adhesive transfer film, allowing graphics to be applied later to curved, irregular or difficult-to-position products.
Yes. A vision-equipped UV flatbed printer can recognize multiple products with different positions and orientations. Matching artwork can then be printed accurately on each item, subject to the selected vision workflow and software configuration.
Standard batch printing may use a fixture to improve positioning accuracy and production consistency. With a vision-positioning system, many irregular or randomly placed products can be printed without dedicated fixtures. However, fixtures may still be recommended for unstable, curved, or high-volume items.
The printer can handle products with limited surface variation if the printhead clearance and height difference remain within the machine’s supported range. Deeply curved, highly irregular, or sharply stepped surfaces may cause image distortion or printhead collision.
Properly cured UV prints generally offer good water, fading, and abrasion resistance. Actual durability depends on the material, ink, surface preparation, curing settings, and end-use conditions. A protective varnish may improve surface resistance for selected applications.
Yes. Our UV printer can be configured to print on selected TPU materials using appropriate flexible ink and production settings. The finished emblems can be heat-applied to football jerseys, sportswear, bags, shoes, and other textile products.
